Charters

Dockendale operates and manages a modern fleet of multipurpose dry cargo/container vessels ranging from 20,000 dwt to 51,000 dwt. These vessels are built to specifications required by current market and of series construction. A brief description of the vessels is enumerated in the Series Names as below. In 1993, Dockendale entered into a partnership with the Clipper Group in respect of the management and commercial operation of the mutually owned Dockendale and Clipper Fleet. Dockendale acts as the technical partners, staffing and hiring the ship's crews and maintaining the seaworthiness of the vessels. Clipper acts as the commercial partner, booking cargoes, positioning vessels and fixing charters. The vessels are also entered into Pool arrangements operated by the Clipper Group and comprising other prominent international owners with Dockendale acting as Technical Managers for many of the entered vessels.
