Troubleshooting: Engineers are stationed in our Mumbai and Nassau offices. They ride the ships and solve problems when they arise, provided they cannot be resolved by the ship's staff.
Dockendale manages a very modern fleet of vessels with the average age of the fleet being less than six (6) years. Dockendale also specializes in fully automated vessels. Most of our Engineers are graduates in Mechanical cum Marine Engineering and are also proficient in automation.
Dockendale has introduced a family structure wherein every employee who has completed five (5) years with the Company is permitted to bring into the Company one of his relatives as a Deck Cadet, Trainee Marine Engineer, or Trainee Seaman, provided he is qualified. This feature has inculcated loyalty from all the floating staff who are proud to be part of the Dockendale family.
